Open Garden #2

The Huntington Garden sits just above the Snohomish Valley with views out to the fields and pastures below.  These are people who just kept going and going until they had most of their acreage landscaped. The result is a riot of color and texture and form in abundance.

We parked in their pasture and entered through the bottom of the garden.

The Huntingtons are old hands at open gardens, but that doesn't negate the tremendous effort involved in preparing a garden this large and this exuberant for viewing by fellow gardeners.  Thank you for the privilege of spending time in your sanctuary.
