NIGERIA: BUHARI APPOINTS ACCOUNTANT-GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Muhammed Dikwa as the Acting Accountant General of the Federation.
This Buhari's first senior cadre appointment since assuming office and the appointment takes immediate effect, June 12, 2015.
This appointment follows the retirement of Jonas Otunla.
Mr. Mohammed Dikwa until his appointment was the Director, Funds Department in the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation.
Dikwa would hold the office of the Accountant-General in acting capacity until a substantive Account-General is appointed.
Mr Dikwa, 55, is happily married with children.
