ONE
This past week I celebrated my 31st Birthday - on Nov.7! It was really quiet - we went shopping during the day, ordered in from our favorite Indian restaurant and had a yummy bottle of wine! We also had a couple family dinners! Nice and quiet!
So, my husband did take me to Lush and I picked out a few goodies:
- The Snowman Bubbleroon
- Snow Fairy Jelly Bomb
- Snow Fairy Naked Shower Gel
- Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask
So, I love the Snow Fairy scent (I think both the lotion and shower gel have made my favorites in the past and the Jelly Bomb and Naked Shower Gel are both new products so I had to try them!) See my thoughts in a post eventually - I think I am going to pick up a few more Christmas goodies and do my usual Lush haul post in early December! (I also got a few awesome books but they are in the mail so I will show you next week!)
TWO
This week marks my 3rd month on Weight Watchers and I am down 21 pounds. I'm really close to halfway to my goal (I think overall my goal was to lose 45 pounds - 35 from baby and 10 extra from pre-baby lazy Renee!) I signed up for 6 months so it's nice to know at my halfway point that i'm almost halfway there! And, I'm not going to lie, with the amount of Halloween candy I had, i'm surprised I didn't go up a pound or two! It has been a little harder to get my walks in as it has been super cold in Calgary, but I think my 7 minute workout app is helping!
THREE
This past weekend in Calgary was the Make It! Show - which is a totally handmade market and it usually has some of my favorite vendors of all the fairs and craft shows! I sadly only had about 20 minutes to run through a ton of vendors but I was hunting for some cute baby stuff! (I will definitely take more time and enjoy their Spring show!)
I picked up a sweatshirt for Elliott from Bret's Bibs, a pair of grow-with-me pants from Munchkin and Sprout, this big versatile bamboo towel for E from Oneberrie, a Fruit Loops soap from Ye Olde Soap Shoppe, and the new issue of Dote Magazine.
FOUR
So, speaking of the Make It Show, tis the season of Christmas Craft Fairs - I think there is one every weekend I want to go to from now until Christmas time! I might be exaggerating a little; but, here are a few in and around Calgary I would like to check out: Okotoks Market Square, Millarville Christmas Market, Spruce Meadows Christmas Market, Festival of Crafts, and Market Collective. I'm sure I won't be able to make it to all of these but I am planning on at least a couple - any Calgarians have a craft fair favorite?!
FIVE
What do you guys think - is it too early to be thinking Christmas?! I'm a pretty die-hard Halloween fan, but the second Halloween is over and the candy is all gone, I get in the Christmas mood! (I'm one of those crazy people that actually enjoy listening to Christmas music for almost 2 months!) But I'm starting to pick out and plan gifts so I'm getting excited! We brought our decorations out of storage and will put them up soon! How early is too early for a Christmas tree?! I want it now!
I hope you all have a great weekend! I feel like I have been out and about every day this week so I'm looking forward to relaxing for a least one day!
