When it comes to being a big hit in America, Ed Sheeran doesn't take all of the credit for his fame. During his recent MTV Music documentary, he gave all of those props to his BFF Taylor Swift and even talked up her apple pie. Yum.
"In England I was a commercially successful artist, but coming into the U.S. as an alternative artist playing shows with Snow Patrol, she not only opened the door into the pop world but showed me how to do it," Ed said. "She owns the US pop scene. She knows how to do it," he continued.
He then talked up their mega hit "Everything Has Changed" and made us LOL when he mentioned her cooking. "I did a session in a Phoenix hotel room, then flew to LA to record it. Brought in an idea for a song, then we finished it," he said.
"Next time, I went to her house and she cooked an apple pie. She cooks really good s**t, man. Then she gets out this little Taylor guitar and she's like I've had this idea for this song..."
Ha! We told you she should have her own cooking show...
Ed just released some new music and of course, one song has many thinking it's about his "love" for Taylor. As much as we wish that was true, he swears up and down it's not about her.
